Spartan has been in business since 1963. It has always been a family owned business, transferring from one family of printers to another. Our family had the privilege of acquiring the business and continuing the family tradition since 1985.
Spartan specializes in personal service, with an emphasis on integrity and dependability. We are proud of our reputation and appreciative of our excellent employees, who truly care about the quality of work they produce.
In 2015 we moved into the packaging space alongside our printing services and continue to excel every year.

Our Sustainability and Ecology Commitments
We’re committed to helping reduce the impact of the printed products we sell and the footprint they have on our environment.
FSC Chain of Custody certification
FSC Certification ensures that products come from responsibly managed forests that provide environmental, social, and economic benefits.
GMI Certified
GMI is a standardized system which brands use to judge the quality of printing jobs. GMI provides quality assurance for private branding.
No or low VOC emissions
We strive to use products that contain no or low VOC emissions.
Paper Recycle
We recycle 800-900 tons of paper per year on the average.
Ink Recycle
We recycle excess inks.
Solvents & Oils
We dispose of excess solvents & oils from the press room and HP digital equipment in an environmentally friendly manner
Aluminum Plates
We recycle all of the aluminum plates that are used in the pressroom.
Komori GL40
Our new Komori installed in late 2022 is the Lithrone G40. The Lithrone G40 was developed as a green printing press that is environmentally friendly.

Award Winning Printing
Every year the Printing and Imaging Association (PIA) presents awards to those companies who excel in quality printing. Each printed piece is reviewed for the technical merit and quality of the print job. If the piece is found to have no flaws, it receives an Award of Merit. These pieces then compete for an Award of Excellence, Best of Category, and finally Best of Division.
Among the many awards received, we have been honored with several of the highest awards given in our industry. The awards are given to printers regionally as well as nationally for the technical merit of the piece.
Our awards serve as a reminder as to the overall quality that we strive to maintain for every print project.
